Baltimore Beer Legends Hall of Fame Luncheon Planned for @BaltBeerWeek

Baltimore Beer Week announces the Inaugural Baltimore Beer Legends Hall of Fame Luncheon

Baltimore, MD – Baltimore Beer Week announced that it will kick-off this year with the introduction of the inaugural Baltimore Beer Legends Hall of Fame luncheon on Friday October 7th from 11:30am – 1:30pm to be held at the Pratt Street Ale House.

This year’s inductee will include: Hugh Sisson (Sisson’s, Heavy Seas Beer). 2015 inductee’s Thomas “Nelson” Carey III (Grand Cru), Bob Footlick (Bond Distributing), Tim Hillman (Wine Source), Mick Kipp, aka Mick T Pirate (Whiskey Island Pirate Shop, Pickle’s Pub) will also be officially recognized.

“The Baltimore Beer Legends Hall of Fame will be dedicated to annually inducting individuals based on outstanding innovation, achievement, influence and/or contribution to the beer industry in Baltimore and the surrounding Chesapeake region” said Joe Gold founder and organizing committee chair of Baltimore Beer Week.

The mission of the Baltimore Beer Legends Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor men and women, past and present, who by their innovation, achievement, influence and/or contribution, and by the example of their lives, personify the great contribution that beer has made to our way of life in the “Land of Pleasant Living”.
